Side projects, collaborations, and one-month experiments. The things I make when nobody assigned them.

OMNI

A concept I developed and pitched for a short machinima group project — got selected, then led the team from beats to boards, script to animatics, and final in-engine rendering. Screened live between game presentations at the Utah Games Launch Stream.

ANIMAL

Helped my friend and colleague Ethan Hawkins with character and environment design direction for his UVU capstone film — including Nora's character design and room direction. The film won Best Picture at a screening of 20 student films, along with other production design awards.

QUINTESSENTIAL

My personal music project. I worked with Maya Fegyo-Judkins to produce Organic Creative — my first EP about my year living in Salt Lake City. Self-produced two tracks on the record.

THE PLAYERS

The Players is a video series Will Stoughton and I created for the game/company, Aglet/Onlife. The series takes a deep dive on Player Expression in video games, written with a comedic writing style. We did three total episodes.

Level Design Gym

A month-long level design exercise building a space around a consistent theme — Santa Barbara's Campus Point mixed with Jedi Temple energy. Scripted basic coin placement to guide players through the space.

Side Scroller

A month-long side scroller inspired by Thomas Was Alone — studying its platforming language, then applying those lessons with a checkpoint system I scripted myself

Stealth Prototype

A quick stealth prototype built around my brother's space monkey world concept. Scripted basic enemy patrolling and locked door mechanics in UE5 — rough, fast, and exactly what rapid prototyping should be.
